I am constantly reclaiming, reimagining, and reaffirming who I am and how I want and need to move through space. My printmaking process as well as each finished piece gives me the opportunity to do the visioning work, dreaming work, and the seeing work I so desperately need to achieve this. The figures represent my innermost being either as an emotion that has informed my creative spirit, or that narrates love letters speaking directly to my spirit. Every part of my practice from the conception of the image to the repetitive and physical motions involved with printmaking is part of a meditation that acknowledges what my tongue cannot say.
